Eden’s Guardian is a 2D metroidvania game with handmade pixel art graphics that offers a challenging experience with smooth gameplay, epic boss fights, a vast connected world with deep and unique lore, and a new take on the mechanics of the genre. Embark on a journey to bring back the light as the Eden’s Guardian!

A land where Gods and humans intertwine

Long ago, a God descended to Earth to observe, guide and protect the human race. But he fell in love with a human and had two children, a union that gave birth to the first two demigods, who inherited the Gods’ powers and became the first guardians.

As generations went on, the demigods’ powers became weaker, and they also became greedier and less wise, so in their desperate attempt at keeping their powers and control over humans, they found a new infinite source of power that made them stronger but also lose their sanity.

Our brave protagonist tried to stop these delusions of grandeur and protect the humans, but she was punished for it and got imprisoned inside a crystal for centuries. However, she has managed to break the spell that has kept her captive and now she has a clear mission: to get the darkness away from the Old Guardians and return hope to this world.

Embark on an epic journey with her to find out who’s pulling the strings behind all this!

A special sword for a special guardian

Now free from her crystal, our protagonist will get back her equipment, including her sword, which has a unique ability that allows her to teleport wherever she nails it. This ability will give her a lot of advantage over her opponents, allowing her to surprise them in combat. This ability will also come in handy when it comes to exploration, since it’ll allow her to cover longer distances and to get to otherwise unreachable places.

Through innumerable passages, dungeons and castle halls, she’ll have to defeat those who were once her family, and find out the truth about who is responsible for all this and face them. The enemies will be brutal and test her power, but she’ll have many ways to fight them. She can perform basic combos, use special attacks by nailing the sword on them and cast magic spells. Each enemy will react differently to her attacks though, so you’ll have to choose wisely what you use!

Will she be able to restore balance to this world before it’s too late?
